ePress, LLC is a resource for self-publishers of high quality fiction and non-fiction. We seek to assist such self-publishers by making their works available for download to those persons they wish to have link to this website and, in particular, to allow our self-publishers to have potential readers link to the page(s) of this website devoted to our self-publishers’ ebook or ebooks. We also afford our self-publishers a forum to conduct discussions of their ebooks with such readers as may choose to post comments regarding what they read.

While there are now many ways for self-publishers to make their works available on the web, Amazon and Smashwords being the most prominent, Amazon’s business model requires that most of its self-publishers charge readers for obtaining access to ebooks. Smashwords, while allowing self-publishers to choose the option of  free ebook distribution, is so non-discriminatory about what it publishes as to make its epublications almost uniformly anonymous to most Smashwords readers.

ePress is selective about what it will allow a self-publisher to publish under the ePress logo. ePress also believes that, no matter how excellent the work, no new writer can hope to be commercially successful without obtaining a base readership and that getting such readers is the greatest challenge facing most new authors.
